This mother and daughter were a treat to photograph. The last time they had family photographs done Miss G was only 6 months old…she’s changed a little since then!
Thanks to a basketball incident Miss G is in a cast. So, with mom in high heels and G in a walking cast we took some careful steps through the grass.

I first met Miss Sadie through some mutual family friends. I totally fell in love with her the first time I saw her, I mean look at her, could she be any cuter? I was so happy when I had the opportunity to spend time with her with my camera. At two she is one busy little bee. I got to see her jumping, spinning and singing skills. She had me smiling the whole time. She and I spent time walking the path looking for bunnies and trying to spot birds and squirrels. She was a complete peach the entire time (a little bribery with Smarties probably didn’t hurt!)

I was so excited to be invited to capturet a surprise 40th birthday party. I love parties and I love surprises so this was a no brainer! All the details of this party were so sweet and thoughtful. Family photos from all parts of Tony’s life hung from the beautiful centerpieces and guests from across the country came to celebrate with him. It took a team effort to get him to the “private client event” that was being held at Brave New Restaurant. There was no doubt he was truly surprised when he walked in the room!

I was so excited to meet and photograph another winner of the “How Cute am I?” contest that I sponsored in conjunction with Little Rock Mamas. Bridgette was the winner for the older kids and I was really looking forward to her session. She is a quiet girl but by the end of the session we were laughing together and she was giving me a hard time. In between shots we watched turtles swim and sunbath in the pond. Then her dad had to point out the snake swimming in the pond as well and I had the heebie-jeebies (that’s the technical term) the whole rest of the session.
